Israel test missile defense
The Israeli Defense Ministry said Tuesday it had successfully launched Arrow's missile missile at night and destroyed a target they claimed was similar to Iran's Shahab-3 long-range missile.
The test comes at a time when Iran is celebrating its 28th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. According to analysts, Israel considers Iran its biggest threat since the regime. Saddam Hussein was ousted in Iraq in 2003.

Israeli Defense Minister Amir Peretz said: "The success of the test has strengthened Israel's readiness to outside threats."
Arrow defense missiles were launched from a base in southern Tel Aviv and hit the target of a missile fired from an aircraft in the eastern Mediterranean region. The missile that made this target was flying very high.
This is the first time Israel's Arrow missile missiles have been launched at night. The Jewish national television called the event " a message to Iran ". Israel's Arrow missile defense system was jointly deployed with the United States, after Israel was shot by Iraq by Scud during the first Gulf war.
Meanwhile, some Western countries and even Israel are suspecting that Iran secretly makes nuclear weapons. Tehran strongly opposes the allegation and insists its nuclear activity carries only the peaceful purpose of generating electricity.
