ASI has spent 150 million euros on this project and will work with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the US Space Agency (NASA) to help bring this telescope into space.
Vetrella said: ' These robots will be put into space during 2010-2012. In the next few decades, we will launch parts of this giant telescope, which will be completed within the next 15 years . '
