Jeff Bezos: People will have to leave Earth, work on the Moon
Amazon boss has great ambition.
In the coming years, many heavy industries will be moved to other planets like the Moon and even asteroids. The Earth will be dedicated to "light industry and residential areas," Amazon CEO said.
Jeff Bezos - Amazon's boss.
'We will have to leave this planet . That will make this planet better', according to Bezos. The Earth is not a suitable place for heavy industrial development.
To achieve this scenario, the CEO hopes his rocket company will work with the US Aerospace Agency (NASA) and the European Space Agency to establish the colony on the Moon. This task is relatively easy because the Moon is quite close to Earth and there is a reservoir of water that can be used to generate fuel.
In the short term, Bezos aims to reduce the cost of entering space and will soon launch rocket launchers that can carry people into space. Unlike the billionaires of billionaire Elon Musk, Blue Origin does not target Mars but focuses on closer destinations.
Eventually, these missiles can bring millions of people to live and work outside of the Earth.
Of course, people can choose to stay if they want, Mr. Bezos said.
