My falcon eagle catches carp

After a while of searching, the eagle plunges into the water to carp and drags the prey towards a forest.

The fierce prey of a falcon is recorded in the city of Ignalina, east of the Republic of Lithuania.In the picture is a predator striding towards the lake at an altitude of about 18m.

After a while of waiting and searching for prey, the falcon spotted a swimming carp near the water.

Immediately, the predator quickly rushed down and used a pair of strong nails to grab the fish.

Carp has twice the length of the predator, so it takes a few seconds for the falcon to balance and hold the prey before it can pull the prey into the air.

After catching the prey, the osprey spread its wings 2m wide and flew towards a forest at a speed of about 130km / h.

Sea eagles living in eastern Lithuania often hunt in lakes.Their main food is fish but are smaller sized prey than this carp.
