While secretly about the Bermuda area that scientists thought was discovered about 5 years ago, an equally scary version of the Atlantic triangle devil appeared in Jiangxi Province (China). a few decades ago.

The mysterious phenomenon has continuously occurred in Ba Duong , the largest freshwater lake in East Asia (photo). In total, more than 200 ships mysteriously sunk during the period from 1960 to 1989 in the northern part of the lake, near the temple named Laoye , killing more than 1,600 people. All 30 survivors fall into a state of madness, according to Epoch Times. Especially in just one day, namely 3.8.1985, there were 13 boats missing in the area. The common point of the ill-fated ships was to disappear without a body being found, and the same result for large ships with a tonnage of 2,000 tons.
According to local people, storms can emerge at any time on the lake surface. If the storm in the unusual place shows a warning, the storm near Laoye temple appears only in the blink of an eye and disappears soon after. In 1977, people in the area joined forces to build 3 dams , one of which hit the 'demon triangle' area . Just overnight, the 600m long, 50m wide and 5m high dam, disappeared quietly, without making any noise.
People living around Lake Ba Duong believed in a legend that explained the cause of the mystery. According to this legend, the founding emperor of the Ming dynasty, Zhou Yuanzheng, participated in a battle near Ba Duong lake.
His army lost to the strength of the opponent, the only way out of Lake Ba Duong called the "Hell Gate " connected to the Yangtze River was surrounded by enemies.
In the dilemma, there is suddenly a giant sea turtle swimming to rescue the emperor to get him out of the safe grip.
Later, when he won the throne, grateful to save the life of the sacred turtle, Chu Nguyen Chuong built a temple to commemorate the merit of the turtle and that is the Laoye temple still located in the northern corner of the lake. Ms. Yang until today.
The people of Lake Ba Duong believed that the ancient sacred turtle had sunk boats invading the sacred area of the temple. Superstitious people believe this story, every time they travel to the north of Ba Duong Lake, they spread paper money, light incense and pray to the tortoise and pray for their peace.
Strange waves
However, Chinese scientists have spent a lot of time and effort trying to decipher the mystery of Ba Duong Lake in a scientific way. Thanks to infrared photos, scientists discovered that under the easy-to-sink area there was a large sandy beach that stretched about 2 km below the lake.
They suspect that this sand has prevented the flow of water from creating deadly whirlpools that wrecked unfortunate vessels to move to its swirling waters and permanently buried under the sand.
For many years, a reporter of Jiangxi Daily's newspaper explored the lake and the temple of Laoye discovered a strange phenomenon.
When this reporter stood on the area of Laoye Temple, there was a strong wind (level 3-4) blowing from north to south. But when looking at the lake, he saw the waves on the lake moving. move in the opposite direction. Why is this strange phenomenon? The journalist was extremely anxious.

He decided to go to the lake to find out. When moving north about 300m, he felt the wind seemed smaller. Then he turned around and walked another dozen meters and still saw the wind blowing in front.
So he went back to the original direction about 300 m and the miracle happened, he found himself at the top of the wind , the wind blew so hard that the movement became extremely difficult.
Moving a little further, he realized that there were two winds blowing in the opposite direction on the north side of the lake and he was standing at the junction of two winds.
But intermittent winds change the intensity and angle of blows over time. Sometimes it blows hard, while blowing weakly creates waves on the lake which are very different and unlike waves in normal lakes. The waves sometimes move into one line and form an inverted V shape when viewed from the shore to the lake.
Later, the discovery of the Jiangxi Daily Newspaper reporter was also of interest to many scholars. It is possible that the unusual wave and wind in Ba Duong Lake area has created a mysterious trap that swallowed many boats mysteriously.
But they also believe that certainly not only wind is the cause of these mysteries. Because in fact on March 5, 2010, a ship with a tonnage of 1,000 tons also suddenly disappeared without leaving a trace in Ba Duong Lake while there was no wind and waves on the lake at that time. The mystery of China's "demon triangle" has yet to be answered.
