Small planes carrying four Americans lost contact with the Miami air traffic control station while at an altitude of 8,000 meters in the Bermuda Triangle area.

Until May 16, US Coast Guard (USCG) announced the discovery of debris and oil slicks, about 24km away from the location of the aircraft.

It is not clear whether these fragments are from the missing plane. But the USCG approached the area to search for clues and victims.

The US government confirmed the missing plane carrying veteran pilot Nathan Ulrich (52), the famous female CEO in New York, Jennifer Blumin (40) and two young children.

Blumin is the CEO of the Skylight Group, the event organizer in New York, focusing on fashion. The company sent a message confirming the missing female CEO and two children.

The Bahamas Defense Force also participated in supporting USCG during the search.

Last year, scientists claimed to have found the solution to the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. They claim that the hexagonal clouds created wind up to 273km / hour, enough to submerge any ship or aircraft.

It is believed that about 1,000 people were killed in accidents in the Bermuda Triangle in the past 100 years. This 500,000 square kilometer area is where 75 planes and hundreds of boats are permanently located on the seabed.
