Most likely, this is a mummy of a person in distress on top of Pico de Orizaba. But the special thing is that this victim completely does not wear clothes and climbing gear, but only uses very ordinary clothes.

The mummy was discovered at a position about 304.8m from the top of the mountain in a very well preserved condition. Immediately after finding this body, the scientific community immediately had speculation about the relationship between the mummy and past events.

Initially, the body was associated with two mummies discovered a few months ago at Pico de Orizaba. Accordingly, the people passed on each other's story about three climbing adventurers who were missing when conquering the summit over 55 years ago. Two of their three mummies have been found, so it is possible that this new mummy is the last in the story.

However, this hypothesis is not supported by the lack of many valid bases. In fact, the new mummy detection location and the two old mummies are completely different. On the other hand, with the status of the clothes mentioned above, this mummy is more likely to not come here to climb mountains.

The question is, where does this mummy come from? The most credible hypothesis today is a mummy belonging to a plane crash victim in 1990 also at Pico de Orizaba.

Currently, other information about mummies is still being determined and clarified.
