NASA announced two missions to decipher the mystery of the Solar System

On January 4, the US Aeronautics Agency (NASA) announced plans to carry out two major scientific studies to help discover one of the first stages of the Solar System.

Two missions Lucy and Psyche will be deployed respectively in the years 2021 and 2023.

With Lucy, scientists will put an unmanned spacecraft on asteroids known as Jupiter of Jupiter. These asteroids are thought to be traces of the early period in the formation of the Solar System.

The mission Lucy will help scientists discover the origin of the Earth.

Researcher Harold Levison suggests that small planets Trojan are considered traces of primitive matter leading to the formation of other planets, holding important clues to "decode" the Solar System. Therefore, the mission Lucy will help scientists discover the origin of the Earth.

Meanwhile, the mission Psyche was tasked with studying an asteroid called 16 Psyche . Unlike other planets made of stone or ice, 16 Psyche has many iron and nickel components similar to Earth's core.

In this mission, scientists will clarify the hypothesis that 16 Psyche is the core of an early planet of the Solar System and is as large as Mars. However, the stone crust of this planet broke down due to strong collisions billions of years ago.

Exploring 16 Psyche asteroids will help scientists find answers to questions about how planets and their parts are separated.

NASA argues that through this mission, humans can discover a new world of metal and 16 Psyche is the only research object in the Solar System that satisfies this condition.
