The Solar System and NASA's great discoveries

Over the years, NASA has deployed a series of space missions with the ambition of exploring the mysteries in the Solar System, where the Earth belongs.

While the Cassini train caught fire on Saturn, other NASA ships still hovered beyond the vast universe and captured images of different planets. One of NASA's most ambitious projects is called New Horizons, with the aim of exploring Pluto, one of the deepest areas in the Solar System. In the photo, New Horizons recorded the image of Pluto in July.

Images from infrared cameras show the existence of water in the form of rocks on Pluto.New Horizons recorded this image from a distance of 108,000km.

Meanwhile, on Mars, two Curiosity and Opportunity self-propelled vehicles explore the red planet day and night and send images to Earth.Opportunity landed on Mars in 2004 and "survived" beyond the original 90-day plan.Curiosity celebrated its 5th anniversary in August. Both machines find evidence that life once existed on Mars.In the picture, a Curiosity fragment falls on the surface of Mars.

At night in Mars, Earth is one of the brightest stars in the sky.According to NASA, if standing on the red planet, humans can see the Earth and the Moon clearly.
