New bullet-proof glue of the British army

The British Ministry of Defense has awarded £ 100,000 (about $ 141,000) to a small company that develops a special glue that is resistant to the attack of bullets, used to enhance the protection of British soldiers' lives in money online.

The new glue is called a shock absorber, which is able to instantly solidify when a strong impact is encountered. It is hoped that this substance will soon be inserted inside the military cap to halve the impact of the bullet or shrapnel, and prevent bullets from penetrating them.

The glue is called D30. Richard Palmer, the inventor of D30, said: "Under normal circumstances, the molecules of this substance move gently and slide up each other, but when struck by a strong force, they rush into each other and bind, makes liquid glue solid, enough to absorb the impact force.

The D30 is orange, which has changed the lives of athletes and sports enthusiasts since sports equipment and clothing companies started using it in 2005. People found it's in ski gloves, shin splints, ballet boots, horse riding equipment, and many other sports equipment.

The effect of this glue depends on 'smart molecules'. These molecules act as a protective pad when strongly impacted. Once the pressure is gone, they will return to normal plastic state.

Due to being able to attach clothes or equipment to protect objects, the D30 was chosen by the Ministry of Defense to be a bulletproof object. In addition to supporting hats, this product can help troops reduce bulky armor by installing these glue pads in areas to be protected.
