New bullfrog species in Vietnam

Scientists have just announced a new species of bullfrog in Indochina. In Vietnam, this species is distributed in Gia Lai and Dong Nai.

The new species, called Kaloula indochinensis, is based on their distribution in three Indochinese countries including Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. This is the third species of bullfrog recorded in Vietnam alongside the common bullfrog and barley bullfinch.

Kaloula indochinensis has characteristics like 44-54cm in length in males, 39-54mm in females; the fingertips swell wide into platters; under the fourth toe usually has two knuckles; the table is quite long; orange spots in the neck area just behind the eyes, armpit area and arm base,

Indochinese bulls are different from brown-tailed frogs in that the disk is attached to the third finger bigger, the length of the inner table is shorter, there are only two knuckles in the fourth toe. Brown-frog species, according to the Vietnamese Forest Creature,
