There have been 9 cases of Novel Coronavirus infection. This virus causes pneumonia and kidney failure. Five of these patients died in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The World Health Organization claims that it is still unknown what the origin of the new virus is, but it is quite similar to the one found in bats. Human-to-human transmission is believed to be in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, although it is still quite rare.

The virus first appeared in Saudi Arabia and Qatar in April 2012. A Qatar patient then had to move to London to replace artificial lungs in September and is still receiving special care.

There have been 4 new cases discovered in Norway. According to reports from the British Health Protection Agency, patients of the deadly virus may continue to increase.
