New invention turns iPhone into virtual reality glasses
Virtual reality glasses are not too strange a concept, but not everyone has the economic ability to own such a device. Now a company has invented a unique bumper that can turn iPhone into a virtual reality glasses at very cheap prices.
Cordon Development Labs has researched and invented a unique iPhone case, called Pinć. More specifically, this case is equipped with the ability to set up a virtual reality environment, interacting with finger rings, to turn the iPhone into a real virtual reality glasses. Besides, the price of 99 USD for such a new and unique device is quite a satisfactory number.
The unique Pinć backboard is a new invention that turns the iPhone into a virtual reality glasses.
The case will cover the iPhone, using the iPhone's own screen as a virtual reality display. The device comes with 2 rings on the fingertips. Data from these two rings will be captured by the iPhone camera (currently supported by iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus) and turned into tracking signals.
The interaction of the virtual reality glasses will be captured by the iPhone camera via two control devices.
The interactive tasks with the virtual reality environment of the Pinć case will be completely controlled by 2 rings on 2 fingers, providing novel control and manipulation. Cordon Development Labs has also announced a suite of software for developers to customize and create more applications and control operations for the device.
The environmental control of iPhone-based virtual reality glasses is extremely new and unique .
In addition to taking advantage of the iPhone's screen and camera, Pinć's bundled software suite also takes advantage of the M8's chip processing capabilities on the iPhone, making the interaction accurate. Virtual reality environment will allow users to perform unprecedented tasks and experiences and further disseminate applications of virtual reality interactive environments
The expected price for the launch of the device is about 99USD, a figure is not too expensive to own more unique features for the iPhone.
