Pigeon birds fly over the Pacific Ocean
After a trip from Japan to Canada, a brave pigeon will be bred in the hope that its descendant will become one of the world's first long-distance racers.

The pigeon was found exhausted at a Canadian air base on the westernmost island of Vancouver.
It was later taken to an animal emergency center near Comox, British Columbia later.
'We think it took off from Japan and got lost or hit by a storm and headed off to Canada, it landed and slept by cargo ships on the way,' AFP quoted Reg Westcott's words Rescue the Mountain Bird.
The farthest range of regular pigeons is about 650km. But this bird has passed 8,000km.
The rescue party found the owner thanks to the phone number printed on the bird's feet and phoned until Japan, but he did not want to pay to transfer the animal back to the country by commercial aircraft.
Hearing the news, the local Racing Dove Organization offered to raise and cable it with some females in the hope that their descendants would be great drivers.
