Play golf in the universe
A Russian astronaut will hit a 3.2 billion km golf course in the air from the International Space Station.
Source: wings.avkids Astronaut Mikhail Tyurin will hit his ball with a golden-edged iron rod from a special teeing ground attached to the base of the International Space Station.
Scientists say the ball will spin around the earth within 4 years at a speed of 8 km / sec before falling out of orbit and igniting in the atmosphere.
American scientists worry that the ball will be able to hit satellites as it flies into the history of golf. But Nataliya Hearn, CEO of Element 21, Toronto's golf equipment manufacturer, sponsored the project, insisting that there was no objection from NASA.
Element 21 produces golf clubs made from scandium, an alloy that is also used to make the International Space Station. The company paid a large sum of money to the Russian space agency to perform this historic blow.
