Russia is about to build a new type of spacecraft
The future Russian spacecraft, capable of taking people to the moon, will fly in 2017.
Energia, Russia's rocket technology group, has just completed the new airship design. The group won a contract to manufacture spacecraft of the Russian government in 2009, RIA Novosti reported.
"The new test flights will take place in 2017. The spacecraft will be able to fly to the moon," said Vitaly Lopota, Energia Group president.

Vladimir Popovkin, director of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) once said the next generation of spacecraft will be available between now and 2018. They will perform a variety of tasks - such as flying up funds. direct, travel to the moon, repair other spacecraft, clean up broken satellites and cosmic garbage around the earth. The ship will have several versions to suit each task type.
Russia now takes people to space with a Soyuz spacecraft. After many improvements, Soyuz has become the longest-serving human spacecraft. The Soyuz squadron took astronauts to Salyut, Mir space stations and the International Space Station (ISS). A Soyuz vessel is always available on the ISS so that astronauts on it can escape if an emergency occurs. Two crews were killed in more than 100 times the Soyuz launch. However, the accident only occurred in the first 5 years since the first Soyuz flight took place. Experts predict that Russia will still use Soyuz for a long time in this century.
