Samsung manufactures both smart bikes
Samsung is working with bicycle designer Giovanni Pelizzoli to create a smart bike called the Smart Bike. This unique car will be on display at Milan Design Week 2014.
According to the design, users will put their smartphone between the steering wheel of the bike. The phone will act as a rearview mirror by synchronizing with the camera in the back of the car. The images captured by the camera will be displayed on the phone screen, allowing users to see the back without having to turn back.
Another interesting feature of the Smart Bike is equipped with up to four laser detectors front and back to ensure the safety of the user during the trip. Specifically, when the user activates the laser sensor, the system alerts the limits on the lane they are moving, avoiding unintentional collisions.
In addition, the chassis is made of aluminum tubes and has a special curved shape to minimize vibrations from the road surface.
Currently, Samsung has not disclosed any information about the price or the introduction of this smart bike to commercial production.
