Edward Jenner (1749-1823) was born in Berkeley (England) and lived there for most of his life. He is the first doctor in the world to study and use vaccines to prevent smallpox. Thanks to Jenner's research, smallpox - a dreaded disease of humanity in previous centuries - was erased. After the famous doctor died, his home became the Edward Jenner Museum.

Photographer Chris Sandys of BBC took a picture of a mysterious person in a visit to the Edward Jenner museum. 'I don't believe in demons, but the picture is very strange. As soon as I finished shooting the museum's outer attic in the wide-angle mode, I watched it on the camera screen and saw an unusually humid light in the chair in the inner room , ' Sandys said.

The photographer stood still and took a few more pictures to find out the strange phenomenon, but he saw nothing on the chair in the next picture. Sandys's image makes many believe that the fuzzy humanoid is the soul of Edward Jenner.

The museum director, Sarah Parker, said: 'We have heard many ghost stories at the Edward Jenner museum but don't really care. But Sandys's photo really surprised everyone. You can see a figure sitting leaning on a chair while looking through the door frame. But the reality is that there is no chair in the inner room . '

Parker also claimed that the shadow could be Jenner's soul. 'At the end of the 19th century, there were a number of soldiers in the museum. They drew a big picture on the wall. Ghosts can be the soul of one of the soldiers, Jenner or his maid , "she added.
