She knows how to coax a baby to cry

Japanese scientists develop a special cradle for babies with the ability to automatically comfort them until they stop crying.

The cradle named Suima, was the product of a collaboration between Kyuushuu University and Maruki Kaihatsu.

Suima has a wooden frame, surrounded by a safety net, and has a 10cm long anti-shock spring. According to the manufacturer, this is the first type of crib equipped with this function for children.

The cradle is specially designed to be able to pat the babies at a rate of 1.8 seconds, equivalent to the heart rate of a normal person.

A sensor is placed on top of the cradle to identify the crying of the child, thereby ordering the cradle to stop or continue swinging, comforting the baby until crying stops.

Because of Nippon's monopoly in product distribution, the price of the cradle is quite high, up to 4,500 or 5,500 USD. However, parents in Japan can rent for $ 100 a month.

With this new invention, fathers and mothers can be more reassured about their children when they are in the middle of doing other things.
