SpaceX failed: Launched successfully but could not land safely

Recently, the Falcon 9 spacecraft has successfully delivered two television satellites to Earth orbit, but SpaceX has failed to land it at landing platforms.

The landing of the boosters meets a bit of difficulty. When the rocket landed, it made the barges bounce violently, causing the camera to be stunned. The final frame before the camera stops working shows Falcon 9 in an upright position but there is plenty of fire in the lower part.

Falcon 9 boosters were immediately disassembled (RUD - a rapid unscheduled disassembly).

Later, SpaceX staff said the landing was unsuccessful and also meant they had lost a missile.

CEO Elon Musk confirmed that the Falcon 9 rocket was immediately disassembled (RUD - a rapid unscheduled disassembly). This failure put an end to three successive landings. In the past, SpaceX successfully landed 3 Falcon 9 missiles at sea and 1 on the ground.

SpaceX still has many opportunities to do that. They will receive the mission to deliver supplies to NASA International Space Station on July 16th. Next, they will test the Falcon 9 rocket missile on the ground. And in August 2016 they will bring more satellites to Earth orbit.

SpaceX still has many boosters in its inventory, a total of four in the Lauch Complex 39A launch area warehouse in Florida. This warehouse only contains up to 5 missiles and it is leased from SpaceX from NASA.
