The group of students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education successfully created intelligent infrared drying system to dry agricultural products and apply them to food processing factories and enterprises.

Dr. Nguyen Tan Dung (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education), the main instructor of the research team, said that the intelligent infrared drying system DS.IR-03 is a completely different version of the DS versions. .IR-01 and DS.IR-02 before.

The system has been improved technically, controlled the drying process smartly, saved electricity and kept pace with the development of the new technology context.

DS.IR-03 system has infrared radiation drying process. Drying materials and fast-drying environments reach the required and uniform temperature, making the process of dehumidification faster, shortening the drying time.

Student Pham Ngoc Huy, a member of the research team, shared: "Unlike the manual control system, buttons, the DS.IR-03 system is automatically controlled remotely and has a touch screen. The system will automatically turn off when the product meets the requirements in the range of parameters that the user has adjusted. The cost is also two or three times lower than the market product. "

Ngoc Huy adds: "In addition to choosing to manufacture machines, students can also do theses, experiments, technology research. But because of their passion for science, making machines and serving their research also like the following students, so I and the group members are determined to make this system successful ".

To complete and put it into trial, the team worked continuously and experienced many difficulties. Mai Nguyen Anh Tu (group member) said: "This system has been conceptualized, processed and processed by our group within seven months. In which, in the two months we have to go to Vung Tau for mechanical processing.

Many times removed, repaired because of choosing, buying equipment and components for installation but not suitable. Moreover, doing this machine is completely self-sufficient and costs a lot of money, requires our team to be persistent, patient because we have to do it for a long time, repair it many times. "

Intelligent infrared drying system DS.IR-03 is a product in the graduation consideration project of the final year students of University of Technical Education Ho Chi Minh City. The drying system will be applied to production at food processing factories and enterprises.
