Students test recall missiles

The students at the University of Washington (USA) had a very interesting experiment when they flew missiles to very harsh environments and controlled them back to the ground.

For the first time this missile is controlled to collect samples from environments such as volcanic eruptions, a nuclear reactor, even material from an asteroid, then return to stab down to a lake was dried up in Nevada.

The UPI news agency quoted Robert Winglee, who is in charge of the school's Earth and Space Science department, said the team is trying to find the maximum velocity of the missile looking for patterns in harsh environments and Way back to Nevada desert safely.

The project, called SRSEE - that is, the sampling system in a harsh environment - plans to send the missile to the surface of the environment to collect samples and put them into special compartments to return to the base. UPI said the University of Washington students will continue to test this data-gathering missile in 2014 at twice the speed of sound, about 2,446 km / hour.
