Thailand: Another case of death from bird flu
The Thai Ministry of Health has just officially confirmed a 27-year-old man in Ban Tung Pattana, Sawang Arom district, Uthai Thani province, died on Thursday 3-8 due to bird flu. The patient's specimen test showed positive for H5N1 virus. Thus, this is the second death due to bird flu in the past two weeks in Thailand.

Doctors gave her oseltamivir (similar to tamiflu) although no signs of infection were detected.
Right to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand Sudarat Keyuraphan announced, there have been 29 provinces and cities, including the capital, Bangkok, have detected bird flu.
Facing the increasingly complicated situation of bird flu, Thailand's Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Health and Internal Affairs decided to coordinate the implementation of a large-scale bird flu campaign to arrest beginning from August 7.
The situation became more urgent when experts said that the end of September will start the bird migration season in Thailand, and the weather will then become cooler, increasing the risk of outbreaks.
