The winners will receive a gold medal, a certificate and 10 million Swedish kronor (1.37 million USD). This amount will be divided equally, if many people win the same prize. The awards ceremony will be held in Stockholm and Oslo on December 10, commemorating the death of Alfred Nobel in 1896.
