The crow knows how to use the tool

A raven knows how to use tools to feed and explore dangerous objects that are being studied by scientists at Oxford University (UK).

Picture 1 of The crow knows how to use the tool

It is the New Caledonia crow distributed in the South Pacific islands to the east of Australia and Northern New Zealand. Unlike many other birds, this crow is not socially high but often gathers into small, tight families.

In particular, they know how to use tools such as branches (photos) to access difficult to obtain food sources, while 'investigating' potentially dangerous objects, instead of directly using mines. They also know how to create the right tools to achieve their goals, teach their children to use and adapt to the tools.
