Health experts are still working hard to limit this Ebola infection.

The Ebola epidemic is still raging in West Africa. This is considered one of the worst epidemics in the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there are now more than 2,240 cases and more than 1,229 people have died in four countries: Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea, Nigeria.

WHO said, Ebola virus has a mortality rate of up to 90%. When infected, patients often have symptoms such as sudden fever, weakness, stress, muscle aches, sore throat, then continuously vomiting, rash, impaired liver function, kidney and especially internal - external bleeding.

The mechanism of Ebola virus transmission is caused by direct contact with patients through secretions. This is also one of the major obstacles for health workers in trying to control the disease because the patient's relatives still want to be close to the body.

Not only that, the Ebola virus became even more frightening when experts found in a man's semen seven weeks of illness. Although it is difficult and extremely dangerous, the medical staff always try to enter the epidemic center to prevent the spread of disease as well as to save the sick.

When receiving information about patients, health professionals immediately approached patients to control and help patients understand more about how to prevent infection to people around.

A medical officer involved in humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders in protective clothing is proceeding to destroy all items of Ebola-infected patients in Kailahun, Sierra Leone. This work is extremely important because the path of Ebola virus infection is mainly through body fluids, including blood and sweat.

Together with a medical professional, a team responsible for burying infected bodies will immediately approach the patient's home after receiving the notice. Their work is very dangerous but necessary because of the risk of infection from patients who have lost extremely high.

Because local people often have the custom of bathing the deceased, they do not want to have the appearance of these employees. This inadvertently replicated the "death sentence" to family members.

Until now, Ebola disease has not yet had a specific treatment drug and no preventive vaccine. WHO has approved the use of non-Ebola anti-clinical testing drugs to treat outbreaks in West Africa. The first batch of Zmapp drug treatment was also conducted in Liberia.

For the people here, the Ebola virus infection means "the death was foretold" and hopefully can save the very fragile life. However, doctors still try to stop the pandemic that has killed more than 1,200 people across Africa.
