The Indian famous cow urine contains gold and medicinal drugs

After four years of research, scientists at Junagadh Agricultural University, India, have confirmed that there is gold and therapeutic substances in the urine of the famous Gir cow.

According to India Times, urine tests of 400 Gir cows at a food laboratory, Junagradh Agricultural University show that gold has between three and 10 milligrams in a liter of urine. Gold exists in the form of metal ions or in the form of water soluble gold salts.

The research team led by Dr. Golakia, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, used gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to analyze urine samples.

"To date, we have heard about the presence of gold in the urine of our cows from our ancient scriptures and its medicinal properties. Because there is no detailed scientific analysis to prove this, we After analyzing 400 samples of Gir cow urine , we found traces of gold , " Golakia said.

Golakia said that gold from urine can be extracted and solidified by chemical processes.

"In addition, of the 5,100 compounds found in Gir cow urine, 388 substances have great therapeutic value, can cure many diseases" , according to Golakia.

"We are looking for ways to use Gir cow urine with human and plant pathogens. Experiments are underway to use it to treat human diseases and plant protection."

The next plan is to analyze urine samples of all 39 native Indian breeds for similar purposes.

Junagradh Agricultural University's Food Laboratory is accredited by the Indian National Accreditation Council for calibration testing laboratories (NABL). It can conduct 50,000 tests annually on various products, including exports, milk, vegetables, beans, oil seeds, honey, pesticide residues and other commodities.
