The method of killing weeds does not use chemicals
Weed is a headache for farmers of countries around the world, including countries with advanced technology like the US. US scientists have found a new way of controlling weeds with a covered plant instead of using chemicals.

The US Department of Agriculture researcher Steve Mirsky and other researchers conducted a field of rye cultivation before the seeding season. When the tree was about 2 meters tall, the team instead of cutting rye, flattened them by rolling machines with rollers, compressing and pressing them into a thick carpet that prevented weeds from growing.Rye is used as a cover crop because it helps prevent erosion, helps soil retain nutrients, and reduces the need for soil preparation.
Researcher Steve Mirsky said: 'This rye layer covers the entire ground, reducing the amount of light on the ground surface. This blanket also helps to moisten the soil, while preventing weed growth and development. '
Although it takes more time to apply this method, the research team said that vegetation types after drying and rotting will be a very useful source of fertilizer for the next crop land. One of the biggest benefits of using this method is that the plants will be completely organic, not using chemicals.
