The Wall Street Journal reports that sources of internet search engines are planning to produce 180 small but high-powered satellites and launch low-Earth orbits.
This satellite system will be responsible for providing internet to areas that are not yet connected.
This initiative can be very expensive, between $ 1 and $ 3 billion if fully implemented.
However, over time these satellites can pay for their own operations, because the more people visit, the higher the revenue from advertising.
The plan is similar to the Loon project, which is also part of Google, releasing hot air balloons to a height of 32,000 meters to provide the internet for remote places on the surface of the globe.
