The snake snakes up to find its way out of the frog's throat

The sight of the little snake desperately looking for a way to escape even though his entire body was lying deep under the frog's throat into the lens of a photographer.

The photo "One Last Scream Into the Abysssss" , re-shared on social network Reddit on October 16 quickly attracted much attention. Standard time shots reveal a natural interaction when a snake is eaten by a big green frog, according to National Geographic.

In the picture are two open mouths of frogs and snakes. The snake while taking the last breath tried to protrude from the frog's throat. In fact, the photo was taken by a photographer a few years ago in Australia and impressed by the frantic look of the snake's way of life as well as the frog's oversized wide mouth.

Jodi Rowley, a conservation biologist and explorer of National Geographic, identified the animal in the picture as a green tree frog in Australia with the scientific name Litoria caerulea . This animal lives throughout Australia and New Guinea. The female is about 10cm long, but the smaller male, usually only 7.5cm long.

Tree frogs mostly eat insects, but they also hunt for larger prey like rats or other frogs."The frog will eat its prey smaller than its mouth and move across the eye," said Karen Lips, a conservation biologist at the University of Maryland, USA.

Lips explains most amphibians, reptiles, and fish swallow their food. Therefore, the sight of prey wiggling in the belly bulging or in the mouth of the predator is not uncommon. Snakes have elongated bodies so the frog can hardly swallow it in one time. The photographer certainly took the picture when the frog was swallowing the meal and the snake was trying to escape for the last time.
