The frightening mystery surrounding the temple is called the 'hell door' after death without answers in Turkey.

The temple, located near Pamukkale, in southern Turkey, is believed to be the site of the death with "the breath of Hades" , the ruler of hell in Greek mythology.

However, the mystery of the temple gradually unfolds with scientists' research. They said that high density concentrated CO ₂ , oozing from Earth's crust caused mysterious deaths around this temple.

Professor Hardy Pfanz from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, said the study found high concentrations of CO ₂ in the cave. He believed that the cave could be located on the trench of the Babadag fault, which could release toxic gases in the Earth's crust.
