The world's longest two-headed snake

Usually two-headed snakes only survive for 1 to 2 weeks. But the two-headed snake named We , which attracts the most visitors at the World Oceanographic Institute, has a lifespan of up to 8 years. Over the weekend, it died after being affected by the weather.

Leonard Sonnenschein, a snake caregiver, said this is a bad news because visitors come here often say: " I came here to see the two-headed snake ". He bought We from an Indian snake merchant for $ 15,000 since We were only a few weeks old.

Sonnenschein said that over the past year, more than 1 million people have come to see this snake. The children seem to be particularly interested in We. They often wonder why the two heads of this snake can coexist on a body like We. Occasionally, We's two heads crawled in two different directions. This question will stimulate curiosity about science in the young soul.

This snake has both male and female sexual organs. Last year, Vien Hai Yang bred We with another two-headed snake but failed. They intend to breed again this summer, but this plan will not be possible because We have died.

A stuffed animal specialist will preserve and carry out stuffing of We's body. It will be completed and displayed next week.
