The sculpture takes the form of a woman, so small that it cannot be seen with the naked eye and can only be observed with a large resolution electron microscope. According to Gizmag, this is the smallest sculpture ever.

The sculpture is about 20 x 80 x 100 micrometers in size. It is the work of artist Jonty Hurwitz, combining 3D nano printing technology and multi-photon lithography (in this case two photons).

With this method, an object is laser-shaped in a light-sensitive mass of material such as a monomer or gel-like polymer, then the excess is removed, forming a finished work in solid form.

When designing, the image of a woman recorded in the shooting room has more than 200 professional cameras with many different angles and processed by computer.

"We are living in an era when utopian things can come true. Six thousand years ago, people painted pictures of animals in caves and on rocks. Today we can go. further, small-scale nanometer sculpture technology is the common achievement of all humanity , " Hurwitz said.
