Three astronauts depart to the International Space Station

The spacecraft sent three astronauts from the US, Japan and Russia from Kazakhstan, starting a two-day journey to the International Space Station (ISS).

According to Reuters, astronaut Anton Shkaplerov of the Russian Federal Space Agency, aviation engineer Norishige Kanai at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Scott Tingle, astronaut of the US Aeronautics and Space Agency ( NASA) flew into space from Baikonur Cosmodrome launch yard at 7:21 (GMT).

The camera in the aircraft recorded the image of three astronauts raising their thumbs after flying into space. Shkaplerov's daughter gave them a stuffed dog to monitor gravity in the cockpit.

Astronauts will undergo a two-day journey before landing at the ISS. Here, they will meet astronaut Alexander Misurkin, Mark Vande Hei and Joe Acaba, who are on duty here since September.

is a spaceship about the size of a football field, where astronauts live and research. It travels through space at an average speed of 27,743.8 km / hour, equivalent to 15.79 times the daily flight around the Earth.

ISS is a $ 100 billion project of 15 countries. NASA once planned to use the vehicle developed by SpaceX and Boeing to bring astronauts to ISS. Earlier, after the US-led shuttle program ended, all flights to ISS were primarily responsible by the Russian side.

NASA uses ISS to prepare for missions to bring people to the Moon and Mars, thereby studying and developing commercial flights to space, producing drugs and many other purposes.
