Two high school girls Dwi Nailul Izzah and Rintya Aprianti Miki made a strong impression on the jury of the Indonesian Olympiad Science Project competition with a natural deodorant made from cow dung.

Dwi and Rintya overcame about 1,000 other candidates, winning a gold medal for their unique invention in a nationwide competition held in Jakarta in late February.

The unique product of two young female inventors does not contain any chemicals used as a deodorant in the market. According to the jury and those who have the opportunity to smell, this product has a surprising aroma of herbs.

Dwi and Rintya products also have the advantage of being cheaper, at 21,000 rupiah (VND 46,000) for 225 grams of product while other deodorant solutions cost about 39,000 rupiah (VND 84,000) for a 275 gram container. product.

The two girls were ready to bring their unique invention to display at the Olympiad International Environment Project in Istanbul (Turkey) and to apply for a patent.

To make this product, Dwi and Rintya collect cow dung at a farm in Lamongam District, East Java to ferment for 3 days. The material is then dehydrated and mixed with coconut water. Finally, the distilled mixture to produce this strange product.
