Turtle tools can be national treasures

Associate Professor Ha Dinh Duc asked Hanoi city to consider submitting to the government for recognition of Ho Guom turtle as a national treasure.

"In the meeting of the 2013 New Year's Spring Meeting of Hanoi, I asked the city to submit to the Prime Minister for a decision to recognize the Tortoise, the specimen of the Turtle in Ngoc Son temple and the skeleton of Sword Lake in the Museum is the National Treasure, " said German associate professor.

According to Mr. Duc, the national treasures signed by the Prime Minister mainly recognized historical values ​​such as Ngoc Lu drums, Hoang Ha bronze drums, and bronze statues of two people blowing each other. Therefore, Mr. Duc said, "Mr." Turtle is living with the specimen and the skeleton of Sword Lake not only brings historical value, but also the cultural and spiritual heritage of many Vietnamese people.

"My proposal is also to strengthen the protection for better turtles , " said Duc.

According to German associate professor's note, last year, "tool" Turtle was 75 times, only May and September were not popular.

Sword of Guom Lake always attracted the attention of many Vietnamese people. Besides the psychological and historical values, according to scientists, the Sword Lake turtle has only 4 individuals, including one living in Hoan Kiem Lake, one in Dong Mo and the other two in China.

In 2011, Hanoi brought turtles to medical examination and treatment for more than three months. Turtles are released back to the wild with lots of fish food reserves. Hanoi officials and scientists periodically examine Tortoise.

In the time before "rampant" turtles and healing, many arguments about how to maintain this kind of rare object have been put forward, but so far no plans have been published.
