Two-wheeled electric vehicle 'made in Vietnam'
A student at the Polytechnic University of Ho Chi Minh City has built a self-balancing two-wheeled vehicle, moving smoothly in traffic congestion, and limiting the impact on the environment.
Pham Ngoc Anh Tung, the author of the two-wheeled vehicle, draws on the idea of human balance on the feet and mobility in the movement of vehicles moving by bread. In a way, if the wheels were driven to keep the center of the robot at the bottom, the robot would keep the balance.

Tung said that the electrically balanced two-wheeler should limit the pollution to the environment, energy-saving controls, easy to drive, easy to pull and do not make it difficult to stop, quite easy to drive. Around in the office, running across the door due to low speed. In addition, it can also be used on low platforms.
The car occupied less area should not cause traffic congestion as four-wheel vehicles. "Research can be seen as an empirical bridge from the pendulum-like pendulum model to the research and manufacture of robots and human robots in the future , " Tung said.

The balance scooter is designed and built based on the theory of pendulum balance , flexible when moving on complex terrain. As it climbs, it automatically tilts forward and keeps the weight on the two main riders. When downhill, it tilts backwards and keeps the center of gravity behind the rudders, so there is no central focus of the car falling out of the support area of the wheels to cause a flip.
Tung's research has just won the third prize in the "Energy Saving Innovation 2011" competition .
Huynh Van Kiem, teacher of Tung, commented: 'The two-wheel vehicle balancing is a difficult topic but Tung has proposed himself. The quality of the product satisfies. I greatly appreciate this result because most of the work is done by myself, from mechanics to electronics. "
