Types of robots inspired by animals

With a design inspired by the shape or size of animals, robots can support military, help pollinate flowers or check boats.

Robot named "Wildcat" (Wildcat) has 4 legs, no strings attached, can stand up and move on its own. "Wild cat" is a 4-legged robot that can stand up, turn its head and run at speeds of up to 25 km / h on the ground level. Previously, American robotics experts have succeeded in the Jaguar robot (Cheetah) and the Bigdog. (Photo: Boston Dynamics)

The BIOSwimmer robot is designed and used by US scientists to assist in checking ships at sea. Designing this type of robot is inspired by tuna, which can wriggle into large spaces and maintain its position even when the ship moves fast. (Photo: Boston Engineering)

5. Octopus robot

This robot has 8 legs and is designed as the shape of an octopus. The octopus robot can even attack. This is the most advanced generation of robots in the development of "soft robots", made of durable and soft materials instead of traditional materials such as metal and plastic. Cyro is an underwater exploration robot. The robot is inspired by jellyfish design and is about 1.5 m in size. Like BIOSwimmer, Cyro robots do not need wires connected on the water but operate completely independently under water. (Photo: CNN)

8. Bee robot

The bee robot is designed as unmanned drones of very small size, enough to pollinate a flower with a weight of only about 80 mg. Researchers at Harvard University say that bee bees are born when the number of bees in the US is decreasing. (Photo: Micro Air Vehicles Project)
