Unbelievably unexpected about the new Milky Way galaxy's new neighbor
A series of dwarf galaxies and new dwarfs are seen as neighbors that scientists have found. This finding again helps astronomers have a more complete view of the galactic family relationships.
One of the first dwarfs discovered was named Sagittarius II.(Image source: Phys).
CFA astronomer Nelson Caldwell used the Clay Magellan telescope and Megacam tool to observe, suddenly discovering many dwarf galaxies, new dwarfs very close to the Milky Way.
One of the first dwarfs discovered was Sagittarius II with a mass of only 1,300 solar masses, located in a globular star cluster very close to the Milky Way.
In addition, experts discovered another object called Reticulum II , the longest known dwarf galaxy (nearly eight times longer than its own width).
The third neighbor identified as the Tucana III galaxy , the galaxy is believed to interact with the flow of material flowing into the center of the Milky Way galaxy.
This finding again helps astronomers have a more complete view of the family relationships of galaxies in the universe.
