US task force revealed the secret to escape from the trunk

A former US military soldier revealed how to escape from the locked car trunk in case of kidnapping.

According to Business Insider, Clint Emerson, a Navy soldier from SEAL task force revealed the secret in the book "100 Survival Skills - Guide for SEAL Specialties" published in October 2015.

Road abductions are often staged, pretending to be a car accident. The scenario is usually in three directions, according to Emerson.

First - "Stabbing" : the kidnapper will slam into the rear of the target's car. The stabbed person will stop the car, step out, examine the consequences and be kidnapped and thrown into the trunk.

Second - "Taking advantage of kindness" : the kidnappers appear before the target, pretending that the car has an accident or a malfunction. The target will stop the car to help and be kidnapped.

Third - "Trap" : the kidnapper tracks the target home. When the target arrives at the gate, waiting for the door to open, the kidnapper will pop up to block the exit and kidnap the target.

Emerson said, if you fall into the situation of being locked in the trunk, calm down and learn about the mechanism of opening the escape box , trying to turn in an easy-to-access position with tools to escape.
