Video: The baboon king is deposed because of too many concubines

The baboon holding the leading position does not want to yield the harem control to include many "concubines" for a group of single male monkeys. He seeks to keep the throne "king" in the fierce confrontation with the "arrogant" hustling mates.

In the Ethiopian highlands, males of the baboon (gelada) are always struggling to find females as mates. Single male monkeys are nightmares for males who hold the leading position.

The hordes of "cavaliers" who crave their partners clearly have overwhelming numbers, but the baboon king is willing to fight to protect his throne. The harem of the baboon king may be limited to a family of 12 members or can be up to hundreds of children, making it subject to a lot of care.

One morning, the monkey king discovered hordes of cavalry and gave warning signs, but the invading monkeys still ignored. He fled to a higher place, but ended up going to the ground. The final solution is to break the enclosure and run away.

However, after that, the monkey king returned to the harem to re-establish governance.

The monkeys in the harem take care of their families for a lifetime. They always gather together to serve "kings" and nurture their children. The war only occurred between males in order to scramble at the top.

At the sight of the hordes of cavalrymen, the monkeys had to use a cruel tactic to deal with. He chose to carry a newborn monkey and go back to the war, possibly in order to entice the female monkeys to help "cure" the horsemen.

However, the male monkey's plan is counterproductive. Single male monkeys still attack, causing the monkey to be injured. When the monkey king dropped the newborn monkey, it caused outrage and even created more enemies from his own family.

Monkey king tried to find ways to soothe the female monkeys. But, the horsemen came back. Only one male was able to hold the throne, so the fierce battle could last for several days until the winner was found.

Finally, the herds of baboons had a new leader and the new king not to waste time taking over the predecessor's harem. The deposed monkey can only stay in the herd as a "nanny".
