Video: The burning process of matchsticks
Have you ever wondered what a match will start to look like? This is really hard to see because that moment only takes place in the blink of an eye.
However, an account on the You Tube online video sharing website called UltraSlo Studios recently posted a slow-motion video of a burning matchstick.
The video is almost 3 minutes long. Video images are reduced to 4,000 frames per second. The video was shot by Alan Teitel, a member of UltraSlo Studios (the team that created unique images when moving slowly in 3D).
In stark contrast to the usual poetic, sparkling scene, the video shows the burning match that looks no different from the 'alien world', 'a beautiful blue foam ball '. a terrible disease '.
