The Kitty Hawk Flyer is basically an electric motor of eight electric motors and a large battery pack, driven by a motorcycle. Surprisingly, the weight of this ' flying car' weighs only 220 pounds (100 kg).

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regards it as a lightweight aircraft , and you do not need a license to operate it. Although, the video below shows that this flying car is generally suitable for some recreational activities on the lake, not to go to work.

The latest video that Kitty Hawk showed, some volunteers took part in the test flight and piloted the initial training.

The Flyer will be available later this year, and you can place an order for a special car.
