Water cooking equipment with ... beer cans

A Chinese citizen has built a solar water heater by using only cans of beer and pipes.

Beer cans are lined up into a surface, then connected by pipes so that cold water flows through and is heated by the sun.

'I invented this device for my mother. I want my mother to take a bath with warm water anytime, 'said Ma Yanjun, a carpenter in Qiqiao village, Shaanxi province.

'The solar water heater is too expensive for me, so I intend to build this machine myself. I hope this invention can be promoted across the country, and allow mothers in underdeveloped rural areas to have hot water for bathing. "

Ma has helped over 20 families in the village to make and install solar water heaters with beer cans. He also said he will build a public bath for the village using his invention when he has enough money to buy enough beer.
