The product is named Cavalier , made from 100% cotton. Its secret lies in the nanotechnology of fabric weaving, which is able to repel water and most of the dirt.
The cavalier imitates the water resistance of lotus leaves, does not contain toxic chemicals, is completely safe for wearers and is still breathable as normal clothing.
"The waterproofing technology is different from the existing hydrophobic coatings available in the US, such as Ultra-Ever Dry," Daily Mail quoted managing director Lewis Pitchford as saying.
The Cavalier can be washed with a washing machine and over 80 washings remain water resistant. It is expected in the future that this fabric will be used to weave table cloths in restaurants or cafes, as well as to expand medical applications.
Currently, the shirt has been sold on the market for $ 65 / unit.
