Wild predators: Need 111kg of bait to increase 1kg

Picture 1 of Wild predators: Need 111kg of bait to increase 1kg Different from omnivores or domestic pets, to increase weight by 1kg, wild carnivores need to consume up to 111kg of meat of prey!

This is the discovery of Professor Chris Carbone - Institute of Zoology, London (UK) and Prof. John Gittleman, University of Virginia (USA), when these researchers conduct comparison of population populations of 25 species of animals eat meat with prey populations on the same area unit.

Scientists have realized that the mass ratio of wild predators and prey is always 1/111, regardless of their habitat and eating habits.
