Will Russia have stealth troops in the future?
Improvements in Russian state-owned technology group Rostec's camouflage technology are expected to be applied to textiles in the near future. Thus, the prospect of Russia possessing an invisible army is not too far away.
Rostec introduced this technology at the 2018 Army International Military Technical Exhibition held August 21-16 in Moscow.

TASS (Russia) reported that Rostec has released a helmet for soldiers fitted with materials capable of changing colors based on their surroundings. This material works based on electrical energy.
In the coming time, this material will be improved to have new features, simulating complex visual effects such as leaves moving in the wind. The way to mimic this surroundings creates conditions for soldiers and weapons to become "invisible" when wearing materials.
Besides, Rostec evaluates this technology can be applied to make clothes change color and texture based on users' needs.
Rostec's CEO Sergei Chemezov revealed that the stealth helmet launched in Army-2018 is part of the Russian army's ' future soldiers ' uniform. Rostec has conducted many tests to ensure that this is an ideal camouflage for soldiers and military equipment, including armored vehicles.
