Women are more important than lovers
For many women, the female friend is even closer and more important than her lover, according to the New Zealand Herald.
That was the result of a survey conducted by New Zealand charity Look Good Feel Better.
According to the survey, 22% of women said they were more attached to girls than with their lovers.
Friends can help each other overcome difficulties
57% of women surveyed said they would not refuse if their female friend needed help.
Meanwhile, 65% of women even value women's wishes more than their own wishes.
The survey is an activity in the campaign calling for women to donate their hair to women with cancer patients.
The majority of women surveyed said they would cut their hair to make wigs for friends or family members when these people succumbed to cancer.
The survey also shows the important role of friendship among women when 82% of women say they rely on their female friends whenever they need help.
More than 1,000 people participated in the above online survey.
