World Go King was subdued by Google computers

After the first round of losing the computer program created by Google, world champion Lee Se-dol lost the next two matches in a five-game series. And so, since 1997, artificial intelligence has once again defeated human intellect.

Lee was very confident that he could win the Google AlphaGo computer program, but he ended up losing the first three matches, and so the outcome of the match was decided without further competition.

"AlphaGo played very stable from beginning to end, while Lee made certain mistakes , " Kwon Kap-Yong, one of Lee's coaches, told the press.

AlphaGo system was developed by British computer company DeepMind and later acquired by Google in 2014. AlphaGo is "trained " to play traditional games. According to Demis Hassabis, the head of DeepMind project, AlphaGo's main time is for gaming.

"It played itself, in various forms, practiced millions of times, and played better and better. He learned from his own failure," Demis Hassabis said of AlphaGo.

At the end of last year, AlphaGo defeated the European Go-of-the-World Championship, and now it has beaten the World Go. This victory once again scored for artificial intelligence. The most difficult match between artificial intelligence and humans was 1997 when IBM Deep Blue supercomputer defeated the chess king Garry Kasparov.
