Wormholes Could Help Us Travel Through Time
The prospect of time travel via wormholes is not a new concept in sci-fi movies, but what if it wasn't just science fiction?
What if wormholes could actually allow us to travel through time?
According to a recent study, theoretical physicists believe that when enough matter is present in one place, a wormhole can form and it can link certain objects at certain points. But is it possible to travel through those points?

That's a deeper question that many scientists are trying to answer. Among them, two theoretical physicists have found some basis to explain why time travel through wormholes is possible.
They reasoned that since wormholes are not simply shaped, they can fold in many places and holes, that is, passages, can pass through them more easily.
That makes wormholes capable of acting as bridges between spaces. And for decades, scientists have been trying to find ways, both theoretically and practically, to allow quantum effects and even entire particles to move through the shapes of spacetime without being altered in any way.
Researchers used various scenarios to see if a ring-shaped wormhole was real, if it was capable of creating a closed time-like curve, allowing an object or a ray of light to travel along the path, traversing space-time.
But they're not sure if such a paradoxical round trip is possible, given the many factors that stand in the way. They'll probably have to find a way to create a wormhole to test these theories.
Either way, the research has been initially accepted by some experts and continues to be reviewed. It's definitely something to think about, even if it's still years away from any real truth to it.
